Holiday Wreath Rice Krispie Treats

  • 9x13 Pan
  • Spatula
  • large stock pot


  • 6 cups Rice Krispies
  • 16 oz Marshmallows
  • 4 tablespoon Salted Butter
  • 1 tube Green Food Coloring
  • red decorative gel or icing
  • red and green holiday sprinkles or colored sugar
  • cookie cutters optional
  • gold and silver decorative candy balls optional


  • Melt & Mix Butter and Marshmallows together. Either on the stove top or in the microwave.
  • Once melted, add and stir in the green food coloring
  • Add and stir in Rice Krispies cereal. Make sure that mixture is evenly distributed.
  • Spread mixture into pan with greased spatula.
  • Let treats cool for around 30 mins
  • cut into round shapes with cookie cutters OR cut pan into 2 inch strips
  • form strips into round wreath shapes
  • decorate with sprinkles
  • use red gel or icing to make "holly berry" dots
  • Enjoy!
