Reindeer Rice Krispie treats

  • large stock pot
  • Large mixing bowl
  • measuring cups
  • Knife

Ingredients
  

  • 16 oz Marshmallows
  • 4 tbs Salted Butter
  • 6 cups Cocoa Krispies
  • Mini Pretzels
  • Candy Eyeballs
  • Red Decorating Gel

Instructions
 

  • Grab all of your supplies and ingredients so that you have everything assembled and ready to go.
  • Pre-grease your pan and spatula.
  • Place 4 tbs of butter and 16 oz of marshmallows into a dish that is microwave safe.
  • Heat butter and marshmallows in the microwave for 30 - 60 seconds.
  • Stir butter and marshmallows and heat again for 30 seconds.
  • Continue stirring and heating for 30 seconds until marshmallows and butter are melted all the way.
  • Note: you can also melt them on the stovetop. For stovetop instructions, see post above.
  • Slowly add in 6 cups of cocoa krispies and stir them in well.
  • Grab your pan and spoon your mixture from the bowl into the pan.
  • Gently push the treat mixture down into the pan.
  • Let your treats cool for around 30 minutes.
  • Use a knife or a triangle cookie cutter to cut your treats into triangles.
  • take two candy eyeballs per triangle and put them towards the flat top.
  • Take your red gel and add a dollop on the pointy end of each triangle.
  • Use two mini pretzels per reindeer and carefully pop the round parts off the pretzel then stick them in the flat top of the triangle.
