Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Whisk
  • Measuring Cup
  • Wooden spoon or spatula
  • Teaspoon or Tablespoon
  • Ziplock Bag
  • Rocks glass or other glass

Ingredients

  • 8 oz Whipped topping thawed
  • 3.4 oz Instant Chocolate Pudding
  • 2 Cups Milk
  • 10 whole Oreos
  • 25 Gummy Worms

Instructions

  • Pour your chocolate instant pudding into the mixing bowl.
  • Add in two cups of milk to the instant pudding and whisk together until well combined and it starts to thicken. Let it sit for a few minutes to continue to set.
  • Scoop 8 oz of thawed whipped topping into chocolate pudding. Carefully fold it all together until it is well combined.
Note: to thaw whipped topping, leave it at room temperature for 30 - 60 minutes, or in the fridge overnight.
  • Place Oreos into a ziplock bag. Crush them up by hitting them with the end of a rolling pin or wooden spoon.
  • Scoop a few teaspoons of pudding mix into the bottom of your glasses.
  • Then, sprinkle a layer of Oreo crumbles over the pudding mix in each glass.
  • Repeat this layering until each glass is full, ending with an Oreo layer.
  • Add a few gummy worms into the top of each glass.

Notes

Tips
  • Crushing Oreos - you can use a food processor or a ziplock bag and rolling pin/wooden spoon.  Make sure that oreos are finely crushed.
  • Thaw whipped topping - make sure to thaw the whipped topping before adding it in, or it won't mix well.  Thaw it for 30 - 60 minutes at room temperature or overnight in the fridge.
  • Don't overmix pudding - make sure to use a whisk and not overmix the pudding or it won't thicken and will become runny.
Storage, Make Ahead & Freezing
  • Make ahead - you can make this in advance up to about 8 hours without the Oreos getting too soggy.  It is best to add the gummy worms at serving because they get hard when cold.
  • Storage - if you have leftovers, cover tightly with cling wrap and store in fridge for 3 - 5 days.  Oreos may become a little soggy and gummy worms may be a little hard.
  • Freezing - you can serve as a frozen treat - pop in the freezer for 3 - 4 hours.  Or, store in the freezer for up to 3 months in an airtight container.  Defrost in the fridge overnight.
