St. Patrick's Day Pretzel Rods are festive chocolate-dipped treats that combine salty pretzels with sweet candy melts and colorful sprinkles. These easy no-bake snacks are dipped in either green candy melts or white chocolate, then decorated with sprinkles for a fun St. Patrick's Day twist.
Melt the green candy melts and white chocolate wafers as directed on the package.
Using a spoon scoop candy melts over the top of one end of the pretzels.
Roll as you are scooping then tap lightly to get the excess candy melts off the pretzel. Place on parchment paper.
Before the candy melts dry add the white pearl sprinkles to the green pretzels. Add the rainbow sprinkles to the white pretzel rods.
Lastly add the green pearl glitter sprinkles to the white pretzel rods.
Let dry and serve!

Recipe Tips for Success
Don't overheat your candy melts or white chocolate - follow the package directions carefully and stir frequently. Overheated chocolate can seize up and become grainy, making it difficult to work with. If your melted chocolate seems too thick for smooth dipping, you can add a teaspoon of coconut oil or shortening to thin it out slightly.
Work quickly once you dip each pretzel rod so you can add the sprinkles while the chocolate is still wet. If the coating starts to harden before you finish decorating, the sprinkles won't stick properly. You can dip one pretzel at a time and decorate it immediately for best results.
Storage
Store St. Patrick's Day pretzel rods in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks. Layer them between sheets of parchment paper to prevent them from sticking together. Avoid storing in warm areas or direct sunlight, as the chocolate coating may soften or melt. These also make great gifts when wrapped in clear cellophane bags tied with festive ribbons.
