Pepperoni Pizza Sliders

These pepperoni pizza sliders are you favorite classic pepperoni pizza flavor packed into sandwich form. Them make a great snack, appetizer or easy weeknight dinner.

  • Baking Sheet
  • Aluminum Foil
  • Pastry Brush

Ingredients
  

  • 12 ct Sweet Hawaiian Rolls
  • 1 cup Pizza sauce
  • ½ cup Pepperoni Slices
  • ½ cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • ¼ cup Sliced Olives
  • ¼ cup Diced Mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Yellow Pepper diced
  • 1 small Red Onion diced
  • 2 tablespoon Italian Dressing

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees.  Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment.  Set aside.
  • In a small sauce pan, heat the oil over medium heat.  Add in the peppers and onion and cook for 3-5 minutes or until tender.  Set aside.
  • Using a serrated knife, carefully slice the entire block of sweet rolls horizontally without breaking apart the individual rolls.  Set the top half to the side for now.
  • Spread the pizza sauce over the bottom half of the rolls.
  • Sprinkle with half of the mozzarella cheese.
  • Top with a layer of sliced pepperoni. 
  • Sprinkle with the olives, mushrooms, pepper and onion mix. 
  • Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  • Place the top half of the rolls back in place. 
  • Using a pastry brush, spread a layer of Italian dressing over the top of the rolls. 
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or just until browned and slightly crispy.
  • Serve immediately.

Notes

These can be kept for up to 3 days in the fridge. Or, you can freeze them. You can freeze before or after baking, whichever you prefer.
