Hey ya'll! Welcome! We are Justin & Kristin and we are the dessert eaters, recipe developers and photographers behind this site.
Several years ago we decided we wanted to try out making our own desserts at home. It was a fun activity to do together as a stay-in date night. But, we didn't want to bite off more than we could chew by diving in to doing fancy decorating, elaborate fondant and all that other jazz.
So, we started out with making cereal treats which were the perfect fit as we could make them festive, movie themed, colorful, decorated and flavored. But, they are super, duper easy to make and you can have fancy looking, delicious dessert quickly all while not being a decorating, artistic baking genius.
So, we started making them for all occasions, Christmas, birthdays, just because they're yummy days. And it was so much fun we wanted to share with everyone else how easy and super fancy looking Rice Krispie treats can be.
Once we had a bunch of fun cereal treats under our belts, we wanted to start branching out. We did this by working to get our own perfect basic cookie recipe that we could then start adding flavor additions to.
And, of course, once we had done lots of cookie variations, we started diving into other fun, but delicious desserts like mug cakes, poke cakes, dips and brownies. Over the years, as we shared some of our fun creations people asked how we made them, and so, this site was born.
