It's really super easy to do too. All you need is some quart sized freezer bags. You can also use gallon sized freezer bags if you are freezing larger batches. There are a few ways to freeze them: wrap them up after they have cooled, flash freeze the pack, or freeze the whole pan.
To Wrap them once cooled: Once your batch has cooled enough to cut, you simply cut them into your desired squares. You want to make sure your Rice Krispie Treats are not hot anymore. Once they go in the freezer, excess heat will cause condensation and can make the treats get frostbite.
You can wrap each treat in wax or parchment paper. Or you can take your squares and place them inside the freezer bag placing a sheet of paper between each square.
Carefully squeeze as much air out of the bag as you can and seal the zipper. Now, stick the bag in your freezer.
To Flash Freeze: let your treats cool, cut them into squares, then place them on a cookie sheet where they aren't touching and pop them in the freezer. Leave them in for an hour or so until they are frozen, then you can toss them all into a bag together without wrapping.
To Freeze the whole pan: all you have to do for this one is make your treats, let them cool, place a lid or cling wrap over the pan and stick it in the freezer. This method is best used only if you now you need a large batch of treats all at once later.
