Rudolph Swiss Rolls

Justin
These Rudolph Swiss rolls are store-bought Swiss roll cakes decorated with pretzel antlers, candy eyes, and a red M&M nose to look just like Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. They require zero baking, take about 10 minutes to assemble, and are a perfect easy Christmas dessert for parties and classroom celebrations.

Ingredients

  • 4 swiss roll cakes
  • 4 pretzels
  • 4 m&ms red
  • 8 candy eyes
  • 1 tablespoon black icing

Instructions

  • Remove Swiss rolls from packaging and place on a tray. Set out all decorating supplies.
  • Break each pretzel in half. Press both halves into the sides of each Swiss roll at the top for antlers.
  • Dab black cookie icing on the back of 2 candy eyes and press onto the front of each Swiss roll.
  • Dab cookie icing on a red M&M and press below the eyes for Rudolph's nose.

Notes

**Storage**
Store in a single layer in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Refrigerate if your kitchen is warm to keep the icing from softening.
**Recipe Tips**
* Let icing set for a minute before moving so decorations stay in place.
* Use red M&Ms specifically for the brightest nose color.
* Set up an assembly line and let kids decorate their own.
* Substitute melted chocolate chips as glue if black cookie icing is unavailable.
