This super easy apple dump cake uses just three ingredients and takes 5 minutes of prep time. Apple dump cake is a flavor filled dessert great for any fall holiday or special occasion.

Ingredients
  

  • 42 oz Apple pie filling 2 - 21 oz cans
  • 1 box Yellow cake mix
  • ½ cup Butter unsalted

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.  Spray or line a 13x9 or similar sized baking dish. 
  • Pour the apple pie filling into the bottom of the pan and spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle with the dry yellow cake mix and spread evenly.
  • Slice the butter into thin pieces and place across the entire surface of the cake mix. 
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about an hour - the mix should be bubbly and slightly golden brown.

Notes

Tips + Storage
  • Allow to cool before serving.  
  • Serve with ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
  • Store for up to 3 days in the fridge, or up to 6 months frozen.
