These bacon wrapped smokies are a super easy toothpick appetizer to cook up for your next party. Whether it's game day or a holiday celebration, these are sure to keep your guests coming back for more.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Lil Smokies
  • 8 slices Bacon
  • ¼ cup Brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Cut the bacon into thirds
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Set a slice flat on a plate, then set a Lil Smokie on one end and roll it in the bacon slice.
  • Secure with a toothpick.
  • Arrange on a parchment or foil lined baking sheet.
  • Sprinkle brown sugar over the bacon wrapped smokies.
  • Transfer the baking sheet to the oven, and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until bacon is getting crispy.
  • Serve hot and enjoy!

Notes

 

These can be kept for 3 - 4 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Alternatively, they can be frozen for up to 3 months.
