- ½ Pickle
- 3 oz Salami thinly sliced
- 1 oz Cheddar Cheese
- 1 slice Gouda
Place the Gouda cheese on a board. Use a cookie cutter to cut out snowflakes. Form 4 stars from the cheddar cheese.
Cut 4 equal pieces from the pickle half for the tree trunks.
Assemble the skewer. First, insert the pickle slice and push it down.
Fold the salami in half, leave 1/10 inch from the edge, and prick it.
Place the second slice of salami on the skewer in the opposite direction. This will create the bottom tier of the tree.
For the next tier, leave ⅕ inch from the edge and prick 2 slices of salami on the skewer in the same way.
Roll the next two slices and thread them onto a skewer, piercing the center.
Finish assembling the tree with a quartered salami. Skewer the star. Assemble three more trees in the same manner.
