13.25 oz Chocolate Cake Mix we used Betty Crocker 1 cup Water 1 cup Vegetable Oil 3 Eggs 2 cups Chocolate Frosting ½ cup White Frosting
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees, and prepare the cake mix according to directions.
Line a cupcake pan with liners (we used brown), and fill each one about half way.
Bake for 14-18 minutes, or until done.
Remove from the oven, and allow to cool completely.
Add chocolate frosting and 1M frosting tip to a pastry bag, and pipe the frosting in a back and forth motion, to resemble a football.
Next add the white frosting and a small round frosting tip to a pastry bag and pipe the “laces” onto the cupcakes.
Tips + Storage
Ensure that cupcakes are fully cooled before adding any frosting.
Stir the frosting before adding to the piping bag for an even consistency.
Cupcakes are done baking once you can insert a toothpick or other item in the center and remove without anything sticking to it.
Store in the fridge for 3 - 5 days or freeze up to a year.
