Horror Movie Charcuterie Cups

These Horror Movie Charcuterie Cups are the thing you bring to the Halloween party when you want to be the person who brought the coolest thing. Michael Myers, Ghostface, and Jason Voorhees made from fresh mozzarella using a silicone horror character mold, each skewered on a bamboo pick and placed front and center in individual cups alongside peppered salami, heirloom tomatoes, and an olive medley. They're individually portioned, easy to eat while standing around watching scary movies, and they will absolutely stop people in their tracks.

Ingredients
  

  • ⅓ package fresh mozzarella cheese
  • 9 slices peppered salami
  • 6 small heirloom tomatoes
  • 15 olives a medley of types works best
  • Horror movie character silicone mold
  • Horror movie bamboo picks
  • 3 small cups or glasses
  • Tissue paper

Instructions
 

  • Press fresh mozzarella into each cavity of the horror movie silicone mold. Let sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the characters from the mold and slide each one onto a horror movie bamboo pick.
  • Add a small crumple of tissue paper into the bottom of each cup to help hold the picks upright.
  • Place a horror movie character bamboo pick at the front of each cup.
  • Thread heirloom tomatoes onto one pick. Add peppered salami onto another pick. Add olives onto a third pick, alternating types.
  • Place all three picks into each cup alongside the character pick.
  • Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

Keep refrigerated until ready to serve. Can be assembled 1–2 hours ahead. Press mozzarella firmly into every corner of the mold to capture full facial detail. Tissue paper in the cup bottom keeps picks from falling — pack it in firmly.
