Meatball Sliders

These easy meatball sliders are great for game day parties, week night snacks and more. They are full of classic italian flavor packed into an easy to hold sandwich.

Equipment

  • Measuring Cups and spoons
  • Baking sheet or dish
  • Knife
  • Small Bowl
  • Silicone Brush

Ingredients
  

  • 12 pack Hawaiian Sweet Rolls
  • 12 Meatballs frozen, fully cooked
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese shredded
  • 3 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tablespoon Parmesan Cheese grated
  • .5 teaspoon Parsley Flakes dried

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  • Set the sliders into a baking sheet or dish and use a knife to cut a circle in the center out of each slider roll. Push the center circle into the roll.
  • Melt the butter, and generously brush the rolls inside and out.
  • Sprinkle garlic over the butter.
  • Sprinkle some cheese into the center of each roll where you made the hole, then top with a meatball, gently pushing the meatball into the hole.
  • Top each of the meatballs with marinara sauce, then sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the rolls.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese, then parsley.
  • Transfer the baking dish to the oven, and bake for 18-20 minutes, until the cheese is melted.
  • Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

 

These can be kept for 2 - 3 days, covered in the refrigerator. Alternatively, they can be frozen for up to 6 months.
