    • Street taco sized tortillas
    • Shredded chicken
    • Taco seasoning

    • Red bell pepper chopped
    • Jalapeno pepper deseeded and chopped finely
    • Canned chopped green chiles drained

    Make crispy air fryer taquitos with this simple step-by-step process.

    Preparation: Have your air fryer ready and toppings prepared for serving.

    Step one: Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add in the onions and red bell pepper into the skillet, and saute for 3 minutes.

    Step two: Stir in the jalapenos, and saute another 3 minutes.

    Step three: Mix in the chicken and sprinkle with the taco seasoning. Stir to combine, and saute for another 3 minutes.

    Step four: Place a layer of filling on each tortilla, and roll them tightly closed over the filling.

    Step five: Add the taquitos to the air fryer seam side down. Cook at 400 degrees for 6-8 minutes, or until the tortillas are browned and crispy on the outside. Serve immediately with your choice of toppings.

    Notes

    Don't overfill your taquitos or they'll be difficult to roll and may burst open during cooking. Use about 2-3 tablespoons of filling per tortilla and spread it in a line down the center, leaving space at the edges. Roll them as tightly as possible and place seam side down in the air fryer so they stay closed without needing toothpicks.
