    Christmas Themed Brie Bites

    Christmas Brie Bites are a festive appetizer that brings holiday cheer to your table with almost no effort. Each bite-sized piece of Brie is decorated to look like reindeer, snowmen, or tiny Christmas trees. They're creamy, colorful, and so fun to put together.

They're easy to assemble and require zero cooking, which is ideal when you've already got a lot going on in the kitchen.     With just a handful of ingredients and a little creativity, you can create an appetizer that looks straight out of a Christmas magazine spread. You can customize the decorations or even turn assembly into a fun holiday activity with kids.

    Ingredients

    • Brie wheel
    • Pistachios
    • Cranberries - dried
    • Parsley
    • Pretzels
    • Candy eyes
    • Chocolate chips
    • Bugles
    • Dried Mango
    • Honey
    • Graham crackers
    • Valentine hearts
    • Coconut flakes (optional for serving)

    Instructions

    These are super cute, but easy to make just follow these step-by-step instructions below.

    Cutting brie into triangles.

    Step one: Place the Brie cheese on a board and divide into 6 equal sections. Divide each cheese section in half, height wise. You will have 12 appetizer bases.

    Making reindeer brie bites.

    Step two:  First, form the reindeer. Place the sections on the board, white crust side down. Break the pretzels into sections and insert into the cheese. Place the sugar eyes and heart-shaped noses.

    Making snowman brie bites.

    Step three: For the snowman, arrange the sections with the white crust facing up. Cut the mango candy into triangles with a sharp knife. Press in bugles for the caps. Brush the chocolate chip eyes and noses with honey and arrange them on the cheese.

    Step four: Prepare the Christmas tree toppings. Shell the pistachios and chop them along with dried cranberries and parsley. Insert a graham cracker into the cheese for the stem. Brush the cheese with honey and sprinkle with a mixture of pistachios, cranberries, and parsley.

    Hint: add brie bites to a board and sprinkle with coconut flakes to serve.

    Recipe Tips for Success

    • Pistachios can be replaced with walnuts or pecans.
    • You can also replace cranberries with cherries or raisins.
    • Serve alone or as part of a charcuterie board.
    • You can add honey or tabasco as a dipping sauce.

    Storage

    These can be kept in the fridge in an airtight container for around 5 days.
