Step one: In the bowl of a stand mixer, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream and taco seasoning.

Step two: Mix on low until combined. Scrape the sides. Mix on medium for about a minute until smooth. Transfer to a serving dish or platter.
Hint: Serve with toppings of choice - lettuce, chips, tomatoes, cilantro, green onions, etc.
Storage
You can easily store this dip covered in the fridge for up to a week. It is best stored without the toppings added. While it is possible to freeze it, the texture can be lacking when defrosted.
