    Grinch Dipped Sugar Wafers

    Jump to Recipe

These Grinch dipped wafers are a fun and festive treat that's as easy as it is adorable. Strawberry wafers get a bright green makeover with smooth vanilla melting chocolate and a signature red heart - just like the Grinch himself. The combination of crispy wafers, creamy coating, and colorful sprinkles makes them the perfect no-bake Christmas treat.

They're great for holiday parties, movie nights, or classroom goodies - especially when paired with a showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas. Kids love helping dip and decorate each wafer, and the quick prep time means you can make a big batch in minutes. They also make a cute addition to cookie platters or holiday dessert boards.

Like other grinch desserts? Try these grinch nutter butters or these grinch macaroons.

With just a handful of ingredients, these Grinch dipped wafers come together in about 5 minutes and look straight out of a holiday bakery. The red heart candy adds the perfect finishing touch - a sweet reminder that Christmas is all about a heart that grows three sizes bigger.

Step two: Dip the top of each wafer into the melted green chocolate. Place on parchment paper and sprinkle with sprinkles and add red candy heart.

Hint: make sure to add sprinkles before chocolate begins to harden or they will not stick.

    Recipe Tips for Success

    • Stir melting wafers between each heating interval to ensure even heating.
    • Lightly tap wafers or scrape sides on bowl after dipping into melted chocolate to remove any excess.
    • Allow chocolate to fully harden and set before moving wafers.

    Storage

These can be stored in an air tight container for 5 - 7 days. Or, they can be frozen for 6 months.
