Instructions
Decorate your own grinch nutter butters by following these easy step-by-step instructions.

Step one: put the green chocolate melts in a microwave safe bowl. Melt the chocolate 30 seconds at a time until it is completely liquified.

Step two: Dip 1 nutter butter at a time into the green melted chocolate, make sure it is completely covered. Use a fork or mini spatula to remove the nutter butter from the chocolate and place it on sheet of parchment paper.

Step three: After chocolate has hardened, use a toothpick to trace an oval on both ends of the nutter butter.

Step four: Melt the black and yellow chocolate following the same steps as above. Put each color in its own piping bag and cut a tiny hole on the tip.

Step five: Pipe the yellow melting chocolate inside of each oval shape. Let it sit for 2-3 minutes to dry. Next pipe a small "U" in the middle of the yellow ovals.

Step six: trace around the yellow ovals with the black chocolate. Let the chocolate sit for 2-3 minutes to dry. Then, pipe the Grinch's fluffy eyebrows. To do this, start right above each eye and a pipe curved wiggly line above them. The larger the wiggles the better.
Hint: Make sure to allow chocolate to harden for 2 - 3 minutes between each decorating step so that it doesn't smudge.
Recipe Tips for Success
- Make sure to stir the melting chocolate between each 30 second heating to ensure that it melts evenly.
- If chocolate starts to harden while decorating, microwave it for an additional 15 seconds.
- After dipping nutter butters in green melting chocolate, speed up the hardening by putting them in the freezer for about 8 minutes.
- To add a bit more detail to your Grinch's eyes, you can use the toothpick to drag some of the wet black chocolate under the eyes to give the appearance of bags.
Storage
These Grinch eye nutter butter cookies can be stored in air tight container in a cool dry place for 2-3 days. Or, you can freeze them for up to a year.
