We first came up with this recipe when we had an extra loaf of pumpkin bread sitting around. So, we decided to use it up by making some no bake pumpkin balls. And, boy these did not disappoint.

If you are looking for a Fall dessert or a Thanksgiving dessert, these easy individual desserts are a perfect addition. They only use 6 ingredients and 40 minutes (20 of which are simply chill time).

    Ingredients

    • Pumpkin Cake or Load - premade
    • Cream Cheese - softened
    • Butter - softened + unsalted
    • Powdered Sugar
    • White Chocolate Chips
    • Pumpkin Pie Spice - for decoration

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Substitutions & Variations

Need to trade out a few ingredients or want to change these up a little? Try out these substitutions we had tested out.

    • Use boxed cake mix - if you don't have pumpkin bread or cake sitting around ready to go, you can use a boxed spice came mix and stir in one can of pumpkin puree.
    • Make them into pops - use some lollipop or treat sticks to pop into the bottom of each ball.
    • Decorate like pumpkins - use orange candy melts instead of white chocolate chips to turn these into little pumpkins.

Step six: Use a spoon for fork to dip each ball into the melted white chocolate. Set on parchment to harden and dry. Sprinkles with pumpkin pie spice to decorate.

    Recipe Tips for Success

Tap the spoon or fork on the side of the bowl to get any excess chocolate off so they are smoothly and evenly coated.

    Storage

These can be kept in an airtight container for 3 - 5 days in the refrigerator. Or, they can be frozen for up to 6 months.

For best freezing results, make sure to flash freeze before packaging so they don't stick together.
