Instructions
Follow these easy step-by-step instructions to make a batch of your own pumpkin spice cake balls
Step one: combine softened cream cheese and butter mixing on medium until smooth.
Step two: add in powdered sugar and mix on low until combined. Then, bump up to medium speed for another 1 - 2 minutes until smooth and fluffy.
Step three: In another bowl, crumble pumpkin cake or bread and add in half the frosting.
Step four: Mix together until you can press and form a ball. Add frosting as needed. Chill this mixture for 20 - 30 minutes or until firm.
Step five: Once cake is chilled, use a tablespoon to scoop out portions and roll into balls. Then melt white chocolate chips in the microwave at 30 second intervals until smooth.
Step six: Use a spoon for fork to dip each ball into the melted white chocolate. Set on parchment to harden and dry. Sprinkles with pumpkin pie spice to decorate.
Recipe Tips for Success
Tap the spoon or fork on the side of the bowl to get any excess chocolate off so they are smoothly and evenly coated.
Storage
These can be kept in an airtight container for 3 - 5 days in the refrigerator. Or, they can be frozen for up to 6 months.
For best freezing results, make sure to flash freeze before packaging so they don't stick together.
