    Rotel Dip

    Rotel dip is a classic, cheesy appetizer that's always a hit at parties and gatherings. With melted Velveeta, seasoned ground beef, and zesty Rotel tomatoes, this dip is rich, hearty, and full of bold Tex-Mex flavor.

    It takes just 10 minutes to prepare and comes together in one skillet, making it a quick and convenient option for any occasion. A little chili powder adds extra depth, and you can customize it with your favorite toppings.

    Ingredients

    • Ground beef, browned
    • Velveeta cheese block, cubed
    • Rotel tomatoes 
    • Chili powder
    • Toppings to serve - lettuce, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapenos, chips, etc

    Instructions

    Easily toss together a batch of your own cheesy rotel dip by following these simple instructions.

    Step one: In a large skillet, combine the cubed Velveeta cheese with the can of Rotel tomatoes.

    Step two: Heat over medium low for about 5 minutes, until melted and smooth.  Stir frequently.

    Step three: Add in the ground beef and chili powder.  Stir well.

    Step four: Heat for an additional 3-5 minutes or until heated through and combined. 

    Hint: Serve immediately with toppings of choice - chips, lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, jalapenos, etc. 

    Storage

    If kept in an airtight container, you can store this in the fridge for 3 - 4 days. Alternatively, you can freeze it for up to 3 months.

    • 1 lb Ground Beef browned
    • 16 oz Velveeta Cheese cubed
    • 10 oz Canned Rotel Tomatoes
    • ½ teaspoon Chili Powder
    • Lettuce, cilantro, tomatoes, jalapenos, chips, etc toppings to serve
