Fruit custard pie is a flaky pie crust that is filled with creamy, rich custard and fresh berries. It is a perfectly sweet and fruity dessert that is great for summertime.

Fruity flavored pies are always a nice option just like banana cream pie or even mini apple pie tarts.

This pie is so easy to make. It uses just 8 simple ingredients and is prepped and baked in just under an hour.

    Ingredients

    • Pie Crust - storebought or premade
    • Mixed Berries
    • Sugar
    • Butter - unsalted + softened

    • Eggs
    • Vanilla Extract or Vanilla Bean Paste

    See recipe card for quantities.

    Substitutions & Variations

Want to try a few different flavor options? Try these ideas:

    • Change up the berries - we used fresh blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, but you can use any fruit or berries you want. Frozen (defrosted first) also work.
    • Make your own pie crust - we used storebought pie crust, but you can certainly make your own.

Like the berry flavor, but want to skip the custard? Try this blueberry apple pie instead.
