    Vanilla Cake Balls

    These moist vanilla cake balls are a fun bite-sized treat perfect for parties. They are super easy to make, feature a classic flavor and can be customized to the event theme by changing out the sprinkles used.

    Vanilla cake balls are a super moist, easy to eat treat. Made easily with a mixture of vanilla cake mix coated in melted white chocolate chips and topped with sprinkles.

    These vanilla cake balls are a vanilla flavored version of our favorite pumpkin cake balls. If you love the vanilla flavor, but want something more decadent - try this vanilla cake roll instead.

    These come together with just 9 simple ingredients and they are ready to eat in under an hour.

    Ingredients

    • Butter - unsalted + softened
    • Sugar
    • Cake Mix - yellow, white, or vanilla - heat treat if you desire.
    • Flour
    • Vanilla Extract
    • Salt
    • Milk
    • Sprinkles
    • White Chocolate Chips

    Instructions

    Follow these easy step by step process shots and directions to make your own vanilla cake balls.

    Step one: cream butter and sugar together on medium low for 2 - 3 minute.

    Creamed butter and sugar with flour and cake mix in a mixing bowl.

    Step two: add in flour and dry cake mix (heat treated if desired) and mix on low until well combined. It will be crumbly.

    Cake mix, vanilla, salt and milk in mixing bowl.

    Step three: add in vanilla, salt and milk. Mix on low until it's well combined. Spoon out balls and roll them tight. Set aside and chill 30 minutes.

    Step four: melt white chocolate in mcirowave at 30 second intervals until melted. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and top with sprinkles.

    Hint: use a spoon to dip the cake balls in melted chocolate. And, tap off excess chocolate.

    Storage

    These can be kept for 3 - 5 days in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Or, they can be frozen for up to 6 months.

    Ingredients
      

    • .5 cup Butter unsalted + softened
    • .5 cup Sugar
    • 1 cup Dry Cake Mix yellow, white or vanilla
    • .5 cup Flour
    • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
    • .5 teaspoon Salt
    • .25 cup Milk
    • 2 tablespoon Sprinkles
    • 10 oz White Chocolate Chips

    Instructions
     

    • Cream .5 cup butter and .5 cup sugar on medium high for 2 - 3 minutes.
    • Add in .5 cup flour and 1 cup dry cake mix and mix on low until well combined. It will be crumbly.
    • Add in 1 teaspoon vanilla, .5 teaspoon salt and .25 cup milk. Mix on low until well combined.
    • Scoop out balls and roll until formed.
    • Chill for 30 minutes.
    • Melt white chocolate chips in microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring between each until completely melted.
    • Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and top off excess.
    • Place dipped cake balls on parchment paper and top with sprinkles.
    • Allow to set and harden.

    Notes

    Tips:
    • Use a spoon to dip the cake balls in melted chocolate.
    • Tap off excess chocolate before setting on parchment paper.
    Storage
    Keep in an airtight container in the fridge for 3 - 5 days or freeze up to 6 months.
