Ever heard of breakfast for dinner? How about breakfast for snack time? Me either. But I do love Cinnamon Toast Crunch and I could eat it at any time in any form so these Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars are THE perfect snack.

How to make Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars
I have a pretty busy schedule most days. It is not uncommon that I will leave the house before I have a chance to eat breakfast. These Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cereal Bars (or Fruity Pebbles bars if you prefer a fruity flavor) are a perfect snack to grab on the way out the door.
Seriously, out of all of the Rice Krispie Treat style bars I have made, these rank right up there with the original recipe and the Lucky Charms Cereal Bars (this Cinnamon Toast Crunch cake looks pretty good too). As I said, these bars are perfect for a quick breakfast, a mid day snack, or a bonus treat in your kid’s lunch box.
You can save even more time by using marshmallow fluff just like in our Marshmallow Fluff Rice Krispie Treats recipe.
Step One
Set your stove top to medium heat. Using a large stock pot, melt 4 tablespoons of butter. This will take a few minutes.
Once your butter has melted, pour in a bag of marshmallows. As the marshmallows melt, you will want to stir them in with the melted butter. This will make the base for your dessert.
Remove the mixture from the heat. Be careful not to keep the marshmallows hot for too long. They can become stiff and difficult to mix later.

Step Two
After removing from the heat, pour in 6 cups of Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal. You will want to stir the mix while pouring the Cinnamon Toast Crunch into the batch.
As your stir, the batch will cool and become more difficult to mix. Don’t give up, the end result is definitely worth it.
Step Three
Take your mix and pour it into a 9×13 brownie pan. Use a spatula to spread the mix evenly throughout the pan.
Don’t worry about crunching some of the cereal in the process. The pieces that break off will just stick to the marshmallows.
Step Four
Leave the pan for a bit so your Cinnamon Toast Crunch Bars can cool. Sometimes, I will put the batch in my fridge or freezer to speed the process up a little bit. Come back after enough time has passed.
Get a sharp knife and cut into even squares. We usually end up with 16 total bars. Serve them up and enjoy your fresh Cinnamon Toast Crunch bars!
