It seems like trolls are everywhere you look. In the toy box, on the movie screen, on Twitter (different type of troll), your breakfast table, everywhere! So now it's our turn to check out these Trolls Rice Krispie Treats.

How to make Trolls Rice Krispie Treats

Who knew as kids that Trolls were ever gonna become anything more than just crazy haired little toys?? Like we said above, they are everywhere and loved by everyone.

We picked up a box of Trolls Trix cereal recently and thought this would work just as well as our other Trix Rice Krispie Treats, Fruit Loops Cereal Bars, or Lucky Charms Cereal Bars recipes If you're not able to find the Trolls Cereal you can always use colored marshmallows or dye a different type of cereal.

    Step One

As always, take out your large stock pot and put your butter in to melt. You can set your heat to medium. Use a spatula to push the butter around until it is completely melted.

Go ahead and add in a bag of Jet Puff Marshmallows. We prefer Jet Puff because they seem to be more consistent in flavor and texture. Other brands are fine, but we have found that Jet Puff is the most consistent.

    Step Two

Stir until the marshmallows and butter are completely melted together. You should have a big white glob with a slight buttery yellow hue to it. If you want to speed things up a little bit, you can always follow the same steps as our Microwave Rice Krispie Treats.

Reduce your heat to low or medium low. You want to reduce the heat because if you don't, the marshmallows can overheat and become rigid and brittle and difficult to stir later on.

    Step Three

Put six measured cups of Rice Krispies cereal into the marshmallow mix. Use your spatula to stir everything together until everything is completely coated.

Now time to bring out your 9 x 13 baking pan and your Canola oil cooking spray. Spray the bottom and inside sidewalls of your pan. You can use any flavorless cooking spray that you prefer. We just like canola oil.

Again, with your spatula, start scooping your cereal marshmallow mix into the pan. Once the mix is in the pan, use your spatula to flatten it out into the bottom until it coats the entire bottom.

    Step Four

Once your pan has cooled, take out a sharp knife and cut into around 2 inch squares. You should be able to get 15 to 16 squares from one pan of Trolls Rice Krispie Treats.

    Serve and enjoy!
